Position Summary

The Vice President, Capital Markets & Investor Relations at Cfsenergy leads investor relations and runs equity-based capital formation for Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS). This role is crucial in executing the equity financing necessary to fund the first ARC to the grid. The position involves managing relationships with a shareholder base that includes some of the world's most sophisticated institutional, strategic, and sovereign investors. Additionally, it requires building the investor-facing infrastructure needed for CFS's scale and ambition.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity financing to support CFS’s mission to deliver the urgent transition to fusion energy
• Manage relationships with a diverse shareholder base including institutional, strategic, and sovereign investors
• Build and maintain investor-facing infrastructure necessary for a company of our scale and ambition
• Help determine the right path for raising capital—private equity, strategic and sovereign investment, project-level and infrastructure financing, or eventually public markets
• Evaluate and prepare CFS to execute on the chosen path

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in investor relations and equity-based capital formation
• Demonstrated success in managing relationships with institutional, strategic, and sovereign investors
• Experience in executing successful equity financings for high-growth companies
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate different financing paths
• Strategic thinking and ability to advise senior leadership on capital-raising strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
