The Opportunity

Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, is seeking a Vice President to lead its Litigation and Investigations team. This role will be based in India (nationwide) (nationwide) and will report directly to the Head of Legal Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all litigation matters for Blackstone’s portfolio companies, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing risk exposure.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate legal risks across various business units.
• Liaise with external counsel and in-house legal teams to ensure consistent and effective representation of the company's interests.
• Conduct investigations into potential violations of law, policy, or ethical standards within Blackstone’s portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex legal issues and provide strategic advice on litigation matters.

Who We're Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing litigation and investigations.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-stakes legal matters and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to business leaders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
