The Opportunity

To lead and establish a top-notch safety culture and world-class industrial safety Occupational Health practices at Hindalco Industries. The role involves introducing and driving the effective implementation of world-class safety health standards, robust safety systems, guidelines, and procedures.

Core Duties

• Develop and implement world-class safety health standards across the organization
• Create a comprehensive safety system framework that aligns with industry best practices
• Build an organizational structure consisting of line function officials to ensure the effective implementation of safety standards, policies, and guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among employees at all levels

Requirements

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining world-class safety practices in industrial settings
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams towards achieving safety goals
• Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
