About the Role
You'll launch your career in utility service operations as part of our regional team, working under the direct mentorship of a Senior Utility Service Technician. The position requires flexibility with rotating shift schedules and emergency response availability, providing hands-on exposure to the essential work that keeps our community's utilities running.
What You'll Do
- Assist experienced technicians with routine utility service and maintenance activities
- Learn and apply industry safety protocols and operational procedures
- Support service calls and emergency response efforts as assigned
- Work rotating shifts: 7am–3:30pm and 3pm–11pm blocks
- Respond to 24-hour call-out needs when required
- Perform entry-level inspections, diagnostics, and support under supervision
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and emergency on-call coverage
- Physical capability to perform field-based utility work
- Demonstrated reliability and willingness to follow safety protocols
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to learning technical utility operations
