Position Summary

At Stripe, you'll join the User Risk Strategy org as part of the Ecosystem Risk Strategy Team. Your role is to develop and implement market-leading policies that ensure user trust while enabling business growth. You will be at the forefront of risk management for businesses of all sizes globally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks for determining who Stripe does business with, on what terms, and how enforcement is executed at scale.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to monitor and mitigate risks related to card network rules and regulations.
• Engage in industry-body engagement and regulatory horizon scanning to ensure compliance and best practices within the broader payments and risk ecosystem.
• Ensure that Stripe's User Risk Strategy is properly calibrated to avoid (and take) the right risks, maintaining a balance between security and business growth.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or payment industry with a focus on risk management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of card network rules, regulations, and best practices in the payments industry.
• A proven track record of developing and implementing risk management strategies that support business growth.
