Treatment Service Specialist – School-Based Services (Helena, MT)

About the Role

As a Treatment Service Specialist, you'll deliver evidence-based support within school settings, working alongside educators and mental health professionals to help young people overcome barriers to learning and thriving. You'll combine therapeutic insight with practical problem-solving to build stronger connections between students, families, and community resources.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct clinical support to students in school-based settings, using de-escalation and therapeutic communication techniques
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school administrators to coordinate care and track student progress
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Connect families with community resources and services to address barriers outside the school environment
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of student interactions and treatment outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay current with best practices in school-based mental health

What We're Looking For

• Experience in mental health, social services, counseling, or related field supporting youth and families
• Ability to establish rapport with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and active listening skills with patience and genuine compassion
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to move between school sites
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice in all client interactions
• High school diploma or GED (additional certifications or degrees a plus)
