Assistant Store Manager

Extra Space Storage is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Pearl City, Honolulu location. This is a full-time opportunity to support the success of our storage facilities while advancing your career in facility management and team leadership.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our Extra Space Storage facilities, helping keep them running smoothly and efficiently. Working day shift—with the office closing at 6pm—you'll work across multiple stores in our district, partnering with the District Manager and Store Manager. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining our facilities and delivering excellent service to our customers.

Core Duties

• Support daily operations and facility management across multiple storage locations in the district
• Ensure facility cleanliness, maintenance, and organization meet company standards consistently
• Work flexibly across assigned store locations throughout the district as needed
• Assist customers with inquiries, account questions, and facility-related concerns
• Collaborate with the District Manager, Store Manager, and team members to achieve operational goals
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment

Qualifications

• Reliable, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic
• Experience in retail, customer service, or facility management preferred
• Ability to commit to a day shift schedule
• Physical capability to perform general facility duties
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
