As a Traveling Notary Agent based in Chicago, Cook County, you will bring notary services directly to clients wherever they are — homes, offices, hospitals, or any agreed meeting point. This is a hands-on, field-based position with Certified Mobile Notary Service, ideal for a self-directed professional who thrives outside a traditional desk setting and enjoys meeting new people throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations throughout Chicago and the greater Cook County area to perform notarizations.
• Verify the identity of signers and confirm they understand the documents being signed.
• Witness signatures and properly complete, stamp, and record notarial acts in compliance with Illinois state requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling, including same-day and time-sensitive appointments, to accommodate client needs.
• Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive documents with discretion and care.
• Represent Certified Mobile Notary Service with a courteous, reliable, and professional presence.

Qualifications

• Active commission as a notary public in the State of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly across Chicago and Cook County.
• Strong attention to detail and a firm commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently in the field.
