Role Overview
Assured Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for an intensive care unit specializing in Neurology. The position will be based in Madison, Wisconsin, and the assignment duration is set for 13 weeks with a full-time commitment of 36 hours per week on night shifts.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU setting
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide immediate interventions when necessary
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care practices
What You Bring
- A current RN license in the state of Wisconsin or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Neuro ICU setting
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
