About the Role

This is a full-time, 13-week travel contract for a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting based in Lecanto, FL (Citrus Hills, Citrus County). You'll work a 40-hour week across 8-hour shifts, partnering with an interdisciplinary care team to help residents regain mobility, strength, and independence. Key Responsibilities

• Assess each resident's functional status and design individualized physical therapy plans of care.
• Provide hands-on treatment in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on rehabilitation, recovery, and fall prevention.
• Track patient progress and adjust therapy goals to support measurable improvement.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to ensure cohesive, resident-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible-for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Experience or strong interest in the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
• Availability to begin as soon as possible and commit to the full 13-week assignment.
• Comfort working 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a patient-first approach suited to travel therapy roles.
