About the Role

As a Travel PTA in Wilmington's healthcare community, you'll work a standard full-time schedule (40 hours per week across five 8-hour days) supporting patients' recovery and therapeutic goals. This skilled nursing facility assignment provides variety, professional growth, and the flexibility that travel healthcare professionals value. You'll collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver evidence-based patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities under PT supervision
• Apply physical therapy modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
• Support patient transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance
• Document patient progress and therapy sessions accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about therapeutic exercises and home care instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and manage therapy equipment
• Communicate progress and observations to the physical therapy team

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted PTA license in Massachusetts or willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity
• Minimum one year of PTA experience, preferably in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings
