Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist

American Traveler is looking for a licensed Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist to fill a full-time travel assignment in Marysville, California — an opportunity to deliver high-quality outpatient rehabilitation care while exploring Northern California.

About the Role

This outpatient Physical Therapist travel position is a 26-week assignment beginning July 20, 2026. You'll work a day-shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours weekly. The role is on-site in Marysville, California and is not a remote or hybrid position.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and establish individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal needs
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Track and document patient progress accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the broader clinical team to coordinate comprehensive care
• Maintain productivity standards while upholding a patient-first approach to outpatient therapy

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date)
• Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an outpatient setting
• Strong documentation habits and familiarity with EMR systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment — a hallmark of successful travel therapists
