About the Role
As a Travel Medical/Surgical RN with Care Team Solutions, you will deliver skilled bedside care on a busy Acute Surgery Unit in Northlake, DeKalb County. This is a full-time, on-site travel assignment beginning 07/06/2026, running for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts. It is an excellent fit for an experienced Med Surg nurse seeking a structured short-term contract in the greater Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pre- and post-surgical patients on the Acute Surgery Unit
- Monitor patient status, recovery progress, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Document assessments and interventions thoroughly and on time
- Support patients and families with clear education and compassionate communication
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Georgia
- A minimum of two years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Confidence working independently within a high-acuity surgical environment
- Availability for 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week for the full 13-week term
- Willingness and ability to travel for an on-site assignment in Northlake, DeKalb County
