Role Overview

Care Team Solutions is actively recruiting experienced registered nurses to fill travel nursing positions in cardiovascular intensive care. This 13-week assignment places you at the forefront of cardiac patient care, working 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, collaborative ICU environment. Starting as soon as possible, you'll bring your expertise to a team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and professional growth. What You'll Do

• Monitor and manage hemodynamically complex patients requiring advanced cardiovascular support and intervention
• Assess, plan, and deliver direct patient care including wound management, medication administration, and life support equipment operation
• Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans and patient safety protocols
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and communicate clinical changes to the care team in real time
• Educate patients and families on post-operative recovery, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Uphold infection control, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance standards in all clinical activities

Qualifications

• Current RN license, unrestricted and active in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of recent, direct clinical experience in cardiovascular intensive care nursing
• BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PCCN certification preferred
• Demonstrated competency with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and telemetry
• Strong communication, time management, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively in high-acuity settings
