About the Role
This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment supporting the Labor and Delivery unit at a facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. As a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you'll deliver hands-on maternal and newborn care while experiencing a new community. The position is full-time, scheduled at 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Assist physicians and the care team during vaginal and cesarean births.
- Support, educate, and reassure expectant patients and their families.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice in North Dakota.
- Demonstrated experience in a Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting.
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts, approximately 36 hours weekly, for the full 13-week term.
- Flexibility and a readiness to thrive in a travel assignment within a new clinical environment.
