About the Role

As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you'll develop and facilitate educational and recreational programming designed to enhance quality of life, build independence, and foster social connection for residents in our community-based settings. Your work directly supports our vision of empowering individuals to thrive in the community with a strong network of care and advocates.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and personal goals
• Create an inclusive environment where participants feel supported in learning new skills and building confidence
• Document participation, progress, and outcomes to support person-centered care planning
• Collaborate with clinical and residential staff to ensure activities align with individual service plans
• Adapt activities to meet diverse needs and abilities, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all residents
• Maintain safe, clean activity spaces and organize materials and supplies
• Build positive relationships with residents and model respectful, compassionate interaction

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with behavioral health and developmental needs
• Ability to communicate clearly and connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliability and a commitment to showing up as a consistent, dependable team member
• Willingness to learn and grow within a person-centered, trauma-informed framework
