About the Role
As an Equipment Operator A supporting Event Services, you will help keep the Farm Show Complex operating smoothly day in and day out. This is a physical, fast-moving position centered on preparing the facility for a busy calendar of events and supporting the routine operations that keep the complex running. Your contributions will have a visible, direct impact on every show, exhibition, and gathering the venue hosts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to set up, break down, and prepare the Farm Show Complex for upcoming events.
- Assist with the daily operational tasks that keep the facility functioning efficiently.
- Support the Event Services team in transitioning spaces quickly between events.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and event-ready environment throughout the complex.
Qualifications
- Experience operating equipment in an Equipment Operator A capacity or a comparable hands-on role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an active, fast-paced setting.
- Dependability and a strong commitment to being a reliable member of the team.
- Willingness to work on-site at the Farm Show Complex in West End, Dauphin County (this role is not remote).
