About the Role
As a Teller at Bank of Hope, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering reliable, accurate service every day. Reporting to the Operations Manager or Branch Manager, you'll handle a variety of customer transactions while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism. This role is essential to keeping our branch running smoothly and our customers satisfied.
What You'll Do
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions with speed and precision
- Cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, reconciling all balances
- Assist customers with account inquiries, applications, and basic financial questions
- Follow all regulatory requirements and bank security protocols to protect customer information
- Cross-sell banking products and services while building customer relationships
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all operational procedures
- Support the branch team during busy periods and special projects
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Reliability, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Prior bank teller or customer service experience is a plus
