Role Overview

The Technician, Special Process role at Standard Aero involves performing repair processes by applying current and approved technical data and job instructions. This position requires setting up, operating, and maintaining various specialized equipment such as Welding equipment, VFS, Chemical Cleaning Line, and Hot Press equipment using approved job instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform repair processes by applying current and approved technical data and job instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain Welding equipment, VFS, Chemical Cleaning Line, and Hot Press equipment using approved job instructions and SOPs.
• Execute burnout cycles for VFS as per the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to remove and clean chemical tanks as per the approved schedule.
