About the Role

As a Process Operator at Valero's Charles City Ethanol Plant, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of an assigned area within the production process. This role involves ensuring efficient and safe operations while adhering to all company policies and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and control equipment and processes in real-time to maintain optimal performance and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Document operational data, incidents, and process changes accurately.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Participate in shift handovers and provide clear and concise information to the incoming operator.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
• Previous experience as a Process Operator or similar role is highly desirable.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
