Position Summary
At Mindera, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Data Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai. As the Team Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our data engineering solutions
- Lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to define data requirements and implement data solutions
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
- Identify and implement best practices for data engineering and architecture
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
