About the Role

As a Service Writer at Harper Jeep Ram Chrysler Dodge Fiat, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This is a Monday through Friday position, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., built for someone who brings genuine expertise in dealership service advising and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced shop.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers, listen carefully to their service concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues and requested work
• Translate customer-reported symptoms into clear repair orders for the technician team
• Provide ongoing communication to customers regarding repair status, timelines, and any additional findings
• Coordinate workflow between advisors, technicians, and parts to keep service lanes moving efficiently
• Review completed work orders for accuracy before vehicle delivery to ensure quality standards are met
• Handle customer concerns or follow-up questions with professionalism and care

What We're Looking For

• Multiple years of hands-on experience as an automotive service advisor or service writer, preferably at a franchised dealership
• Familiarity with dealership service department operations and repair order processes
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
