Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Teaching in NYC professional for a Full‑Time position based in Sparkill, Rockland County.

About the Role

As a teacher within our network, you will contribute to a high‑expectation learning environment where student achievement is the central focus. You will collaborate with fellow educators, instructional coaches, and school leaders to deliver rigorous curriculum and support each learner’s academic growth.

What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and Success Academy’s instructional framework.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative tools, using data to differentiate instruction.
• Foster a classroom culture that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love of learning.
• Communicate regularly with families to share academic updates and partner on student success.
• Participate in professional development sessions, grade‑level meetings, and school‑wide initiatives.
• Contribute to extracurricular programs, clubs, or enrichment activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior in accordance with school policies.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid New York State teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain) in the relevant subject area or grade level.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective lesson plans that meet diverse learner needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe, orderly environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for urban education and a belief that all children can achieve at high levels.
• Willingness to receive feedback, engage in continuous improvement, and embrace a collaborative team approach.
