Tax Operations Administrator

Wojeski & Company CPAs is hiring a full-time Tax Operations Administrator in Colonie, Albany County, to lead the organizational backbone that keeps our tax and operations teams performing at their best during peak seasons and throughout the year.

About the Role

You will manage the critical workflows and administrative systems that support our tax preparation teams and client relationships. From coordinating client documents to tracking filing deadlines, you'll own the processes that allow tax professionals to focus on delivering quality work while clients receive clear, timely communication every step of the way.

What You'll Do

• Organize and maintain client tax files with systematic documentation and retrieval systems
• Track tax deadlines, extensions, and compliance dates to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Manage client correspondence—including document requests, status updates, and return delivery
• Maintain firm databases and record systems that support both tax operations and client service
• Prioritize workflow during tax season to maximize team productivity and meet client expectations
• Support tax professionals with administrative coordination and process improvements
