Tax Manager – Indirect Tax – Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services

About the Role

As a Tax Manager in our Indirect Tax practice, you'll lead unclaimed property and escheat services engagements for a diverse client base. You'll oversee compliance work, manage project timelines, and deliver expert guidance on state and federal unclaimed property requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll both contribute technical expertise and develop your team.

What You'll Do

• Direct unclaimed property compliance assessments and reporting engagements
• Manage delivery of indirect tax compliance projects with attention to quality and client satisfaction
• Advise clients on escheat services, unclaimed property regulations, and compliance obligations across jurisdictions
• Supervise and mentor staff members on tax methodology and client service excellence
• Coordinate with state agencies and clients to ensure accurate filing and timely completion of deliverables
• Maintain expertise in evolving unclaimed property laws and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in unclaimed property law, escheat services, and indirect tax compliance
• Proven track record leading tax compliance projects and managing client relationships
• Strong people management and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• CPA credential or advanced tax qualification; several years of relevant tax experience
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver in a dynamic environment
