What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Registering and scheduling patients at Intermountain Healthcare facilities system-wide
- Exceeding customer expectations by providing exceptional service through a single telephone call to schedule and register for services
- Reviewing insurance benefit information and estimating costs related to patient appointments
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ambulatory scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health records systems
