Care Technologist Float Pool — Intermountain Health, Golden, Colorado
The Opportunity
This role is part of our Imaging Float Pool at Intermountain Health. As a Care Technologist in this position, you will have the flexibility to work across multiple Front Range facilities and adapt to varying staffing needs. You'll be responsible for self-scheduling shifts on a first-come basis and committing to a minimum of four shifts within each 8-week period, including at least one hard-to-fill shift such as weekends, holidays, nights, or others.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and policies.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to infection control practices and radiation safety guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field is required.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, nights, or other hard-to-fill shifts as needed.
