Join UCHealth's Labor & Delivery team as a Registered Nurse in our Metro Denver Float Pool, a full-time position serving the greater Denver area including Lakewood. This role offers dynamic nursing opportunities across multiple UCHealth hospitals with rotating day and night shifts.
About the Role
As an RN in our Labor & Delivery Metro Denver Float Pool, you'll provide direct patient care and clinical support across three busy UCHealth facilities: University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, and Longs Peak Hospital. This full-time position runs 72 hours per pay period on two-week cycles, with rotating day and night shifts that bring variety to your nursing career.
What You'll Do
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to laboring patients and their families
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to clinical changes
- Support patients through active labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication across the care team
- Adapt quickly to different hospital environments and team structures within the float pool model
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license (or eligibility for Colorado licensure)
- Clinical experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred
- Ability to work flexible rotating day and night shifts
- Comfort operating within a float pool model across multiple hospital campuses
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse clinical teams
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered obstetric nursing
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly compensation ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 based on your relevant nursing experience and qualifications. You'll work full-time on a rotating schedule including day and night shifts across our Metro Denver hospitals.
