Key Responsibilities
- Optimize calcination processes used to produce sodium-ion battery cathode materials.
- Conduct in-situ characterization to monitor and understand material behavior during synthesis.
- Support the LENS project objectives in coordination with the ANL-MERF research group.
- Collaborate with Dr. Ozge Kahvecioglu and laboratory staff to document and share findings.
Qualifications
- Active enrollment as a PhD student (this appointment is designated for Changgyu Seok of Virginia Tech).
- Background relevant to materials science, electrochemistry, or battery cathode engineering.
- Familiarity with calcination methods and in-situ characterization techniques.
