About the Role
ServiceTitan is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to our Developer Platform for enterprise-scale SaaS. As a key technical leader on the DevX platform team, you will set architectural direction and personally handle complex engineering challenges. This role involves building foundational capabilities such as cloud development environments, build & CI/CD pipelines, and developer portals. You'll be expected to lead through influence, raising the technical bar for both engineers and managers.
What You'll Do
- Own and architect core DevX platform features including environments, build systems, and developer portals.
- Create high-fidelity mocking, data seeding, and configuration management tools to support cloud development environments (CDEs).
- Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines with automated test-splitting and zero-downtime rollouts.
- Develop a unified internal platform that provides "Golden Paths" for service scaffolding.
Requirements
- Deep production experience and strong systems intuition.
- Able to make critical architectural decisions and lead through influence without direct management responsibilities.
- Expertise in cloud development environments, build & CI/CD pipelines, and developer portals.
- Comfortable with technical ambiguity and capable of making informed decisions under pressure.
