Role Overview

Responsibilities
The Connectivity team at Anthropic plays a crucial role in making Claude the most connected AI. You will work on defining how agents access external systems safely, with appropriate permissions, and in ways that enterprises can trust. This includes shipping standards and services used by claude.ai, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API. You will also be responsible for maintaining the MCP proxy that routes every tool call and managing OAuth and token authentication.
You will contribute to the MCP spec, an open standard under the Linux Foundation, and maintain official Python and TypeScript SDKs. Your work involves designing, building, and operating core connectivity infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and enterprise trust. This includes implementing OAuth at scale, developing admin controls for IT governance, and ensuring proxy infrastructure is reliable by default.
