Epic Special Education Staffing is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for full-time school-based work during the 2026–2027 school year in Gonzales, Monterey County. Help students develop communication skills and achieve their speech-language goals in a supportive school environment.

About the Role

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development and academic success. You'll join a school community committed to supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs throughout the 2026–2027 school year. As a valued clinician, you'll earn a $2,000 Completion Bonus upon successfully finishing your full school year assignment (30 hours per week), plus the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses by connecting other qualified professionals to positions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and communication strengths
• Deliver individualized and small-group speech-language therapy sessions aligned with student goals
• Document assessment findings, progress, and clinical observations in school records
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff on student communication development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plan development
• Consult with families regarding student progress and evidence-based communication strategies for home
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with school and regulatory standards

Who We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure or Certificate of Clinical Competence (or clinical fellowship status with appropriate supervision)
• Experience working with school-age students in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and student outcomes
