Position Summary

E.W. Wylie is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers to operate specialized flatbed equipment and transport high-value freight across regional and long-haul routes. You'll be the backbone of our operations—professional, safety-focused, and committed to on-time delivery every shift. This role offers strong pay up to 72 cents per mile, a $3,500 onboarding bonus, and the kind of career stability that keeps drivers engaged for years.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain commercial flatbed trucks, ensuring all equipment meets DOT safety standards
• Transport specialized freight—including equipment, materials, and cargo requiring expert handling—across assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any maintenance needs
• Coordinate with dispatchers and loading crews to ensure efficient, safe cargo securing and load balance
• Adhere strictly to Hours of Service regulations, weight limits, and all federal DOT compliance requirements
• Maintain a professional presence and excellent customer service during interactions at delivery sites
• Keep detailed logs and records as required by regulation and company policy

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with current medical certification
• Minimum 2+ years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience; flatbed or specialized freight background preferred
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past 3+ years
• Current DOT physical examination and ability to pass ongoing safety reviews
• Willingness to pass comprehensive background check clearance
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and cargo securement techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on the road
