Social Media Marketing Manager

Monterey Bay Vascular, a leading multispecialty medical practice on California's Central Coast, seeks a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Salinas. This part-time role offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections with our community while supporting our healthcare mission across vascular care, wound management, pain services, and our wellness division.

About the Role

As our Social Media Marketing Manager, you'll own the development and execution of social media strategy across platforms, helping Monterey Bay Vascular and Vascura Wellness reach and engage patients throughout Monterey County and the Central Coast. You'll create content that educates, informs, and builds trust within our community.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement social media content calendars aligned with organizational goals and seasonal health initiatives
• Create engaging, original content—including posts, graphics, and short-form video—optimized for each platform's audience and algorithms
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and refine strategy
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure messaging accuracy and brand consistency
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and healthcare marketing best practices
• Support paid social advertising campaigns and budget management

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing social media for a healthcare provider, medical practice, or similar organization
• Strong writing and creative skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly to patients
• Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and analytics tools
• Experience with content creation tools, graphic design, and social media scheduling software
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare marketing regulations
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
