About the Role
As a Caregiver/CNA with Amada Senior Care NorthShore, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them stay comfortable, safe, and independent. This full-time, on-site position in Park Ridge is ideal for someone who brings warmth, patience, and reliability to every shift. Because travel to clients is part of the job, you must be a licensed driver with access to reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and getting dressed.
- Offer companionship and genuine emotional support throughout the day.
- Assist with everyday living activities to promote each client's comfort and well-being.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
- Communicate respectfully with clients and their families while delivering attentive, person-centered care.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of hands-on caregiving experience is required.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive to client locations.
- A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to senior care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sincere commitment to clients' dignity and comfort.
