Social Media Marketing Lead

Wag Walking is seeking a Social Media Marketing Lead to join our team in Seybold, Miami-Dade County, Florida. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to shape the social strategy for a leading platform serving hundreds of thousands of pet households across the United States.

About the Role

As Social Media Marketing Lead, you'll oversee all social media channels and digital engagement strategies for Wag Walking. You'll drive brand awareness, community growth, and customer acquisition through compelling content, campaign strategy, and platform management. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly impact how millions of pet owners discover and engage with our services.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content that resonates with pet owners and pet caregivers
• Manage community engagement, respond to inquiries, and build relationships with followers
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to align messaging and launch campaigns
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve
• Lead and mentor social media staff or contractors as needed

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of social media marketing experience, ideally in a leadership capacity
• Proven success growing audiences and driving engagement across multiple platforms
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to optimize campaigns based on data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with content management systems and social media scheduling tools
• Creative mindset with ability to develop original, on-brand content
• Strong project management and organizational skills
