About the Role

What You'll Do

• Oversee store operations during your shift, including opening, closing, and mid‑shift procedures
• Coach and develop baristas through real‑time feedback and on‑the‑job training
• Maintain product quality by monitoring beverage preparation, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory levels, place orders, and control waste to support profitability
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, following cash‑handling policies
• Resolve customer concerns promptly, turning challenges into positive experiences
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and Starbucks policies
• Communicate store performance metrics to the store manager and assist with scheduling

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in retail, food service, or hospitality, with at least one year in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and building community connections
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory management
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds safely
