Service Writer – Hillsborough, NH

VIP Auto is looking for a full-time Service Writer to join our team in Hillsborough, Hillsborough County. In this hourly position, you'll serve as the first point of contact between our customers and their vehicle service needs, helping us build long-term relationships through clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer care.

About the Role

As a Service Writer at VIP Auto, you'll be the customer-facing expert who listens, documents, and communicates vehicle service requirements. You'll work closely with our Service Manager and technicians to ensure every customer interaction reflects VIP's commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. This role bridges the gap between customer expectations and the technical team, making it essential to our operation.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and professionally; listen carefully to their vehicle concerns and service requests
• Complete detailed service write-ups that accurately capture customer needs and vehicle conditions
• Explain recommended services and vehicle maintenance in language customers understand
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery
• Manage customer follow-ups and keep clients informed about service progress
• Maintain accurate records and support efficient service scheduling
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with all team members
