About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer focused on front-end development, you'll take ownership of building and scaling modern web applications using React and Next.js. This position combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, requiring you to design robust frontend architectures, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, performant React and Next.js applications
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices across the frontend team
- Architect frontend solutions that balance developer experience with user performance
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical growth
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and SEO
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and ship features
- Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant depth in React and Next.js
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
- Strong understanding of state management, component architecture, and performance optimization
- Experience with testing frameworks and a commitment to test-driven development
- Proven ability to lead projects, mentor colleagues, and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
