About This Position

Are you passionate about fitness and people? As a Sales Host and Member Consultant at Everlast Gyms Kettering, you'll serve as the primary ambassador for our facility, greeting and engaging with prospective and existing members every day. This role combines genuine hospitality with consultative sales—helping individuals discover their fitness potential whilst driving membership growth and retention for our thriving gym location.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, enquiries, and current members
• Conduct comprehensive facility tours highlighting equipment, classes, and membership benefits
• Process new membership registrations, manage paperwork, and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Address member enquiries and concerns with professionalism and problem-solving focus
• Drive membership sales through consultative conversations and solution-focused recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting front-of-house and reception environment
• Work collaboratively with gym team members to deliver consistent, high-quality member experiences

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-facing roles
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
• Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals
• Ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic, and sometimes unpredictable environment
• Reliable, professional demeanour with a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required by business needs
