Position Summary

This senior position offers the opportunity to shape unforgettable wildlife journeys for a leading conservation-focused travel business. You'll combine deep regional knowledge with meticulous planning to deliver tailored experiences that resonate with each client's unique travel aspirations. Your expertise in lodge networks, wildlife viewing, cultural immersion, and regional logistics will be essential as you orchestrate seamless journeys across some of Africa's most remarkable destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customised safari itineraries that reflect client preferences, budget parameters, and seasonal wildlife patterns across East and Southern Africa
• Manage complex group logistics including accommodation sourcing, ground transportation, permit acquisition, and on-the-ground coordination
• Provide expert consultation on destination suitability, wildlife encounters, and regional travel dynamics to ensure client expectations align with reality
• Maintain relationships with lodge partners, guides, operators, and suppliers across multiple countries
• Oversee itinerary delivery, troubleshoot challenges in real time, and ensure post-journey client satisfaction

What You Bring

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of East and Southern African safari destinations, lodges, conservation areas, and travel logistics
• Proven track record orchestrating multi-destination group itineraries with precision and attention to detail
• Strong client relationship management skills and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with suppliers and partners
• Fluency in travel planning software and Microsoft Office suite
• Passion for conservation and Africa's wildlife heritage
