Etsy is seeking a Senior Product Research Manager, Core Seller Experience to join our Brooklyn, New York City headquarters and shape how millions of independent sellers grow their businesses on the world's marketplace for original goods. This is a full-time, on-site role for a research leader who turns deep customer insight into product direction.

About the Role

As the Senior Product Research Manager for Core Seller Experience, you will lead the research function that informs how Etsy builds tools for the entrepreneurs at the heart of our platform. Based in Brooklyn, you will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure that the seller voice drives every decision, helping creative business owners succeed at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive a research strategy focused on the core experiences Etsy sellers rely on every day.
• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies that surface meaningful insights about seller needs and behaviors.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations that shape product roadmaps and design choices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, design, and engineering to embed research throughout the development process.
• Champion the perspective of millions of sellers, connecting them with the millions of buyers who shop on Etsy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading product research, ideally for marketplace, e-commerce, or seller-facing platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute mixed-method research programs end to end.
• Strong skills in synthesizing complex data into compelling narratives that influence stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale, high-impact problems.
• Comfort working on-site in Etsy's Brooklyn, New York City office.
