Rocket Software is hiring a Senior Product Manager, TMON and Storage, to lead a strategic product portfolio in Springfield, Sangamon County. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to steer mature, revenue-driving solutions across the mainframe software landscape.
About the Role
As the Senior Product Manager for TMON and Storage at Rocket Software, you will take full ownership of a high-value portfolio that spans Rocket Direct TMON, the Rocket Direct Storage suite, and the IBM Storage portfolio. These are well-established, proven products with active customer bases, giving you the opportunity to shape direction, sharpen positioning, and grow market reach. Familiarity with the IBM mainframe software market is a strong advantage in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Rocket Direct TMON, Rocket Direct Storage, and the IBM Storage portfolio.
- Drive the continued success of established, revenue-generating products throughout their lifecycle.
- Translate market needs and customer feedback into clear product priorities and requirements.
- Partner across engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver and promote portfolio outcomes.
- Monitor competitive trends within the mainframe and enterprise storage space to guide decisions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in product management, ideally with enterprise software portfolios.
- Knowledge of the IBM mainframe software market is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage and grow established, revenue-generating products.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working full-time and on-site in Springfield, Sangamon County.
