You will help the wider technical programme community by sharing frameworks and improved working methods, ultimately strengthening the developer platform that underpins all PlayStation software titles. Candidates who combine practical software-engineering experience with pride in on-time, high-quality delivery will thrive here.

  • Prepare project plans that guide contributions to the PlayStation developer platform
  • Align stakeholders around agreed objectives, milestones and quality criteria
  • Orchestrate product-testing activities in partnership with quality assurance colleagues
  • Provide clear progress reports to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Steer internal initiatives that strike the right balance between process improvement and external delivery commitments
  • Champion advances in project-management and software-development practices across the organisation

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of relevant project-management experience
  • Proven success guiding multiple medium-to-high complexity software projects that span several organisations and globally distributed teams
  • Consistent track record of completing projects to schedule
  • Ability to oversee several concurrent software development efforts
  • Experience leading change-management or standardisation programmes
  • Working knowledge of Agile methods such as Scrum
  • Strong software-engineering foundation, ideally including practical hands-on coding
  • Continuous-improvement orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
  • A project-management qualification (PMI, APM or equivalent) is advantageous
  • Useful additional experience includes business-process improvement, large-scale developer platforms, AI or agentic tooling, modern languages and practices, Jira and Confluence, and collaboration with Japanese and US teams
