About the Role
As Senior Paid Media Manager at Sophos, you will own paid media delivery for the Americas while collaborating with counterparts in EMEA and APJ. You will partner closely with Americas Field Marketing, shaping campaigns at a strategic level and rolling up your sleeves to optimize channels, audiences, and creative for measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities
- Anchor Americas paid media plans to Sophos' global demand generation priorities, adapting global briefs and messaging for local market dynamics and buyer behavior.
- Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar annual budget with a disciplined, ROI-first approach across the full funnel.
- Execute campaigns across paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Bing), paid social (LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube), programmatic display, and emerging formats like podcasts and connected TV.
- Integrate account-based marketing with paid media to reach high-value target accounts, and evolve retargeting programs that re-engage in-market buyers.
- Track and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs, and build forecasting models for pipeline contribution and budget pacing.
- Run an always-on experimentation program of A/B and multivariate tests across creative, copy, landing pages, audiences, and bidding strategies.
- Apply AI-native tools such as Smart Bidding, Performance Max, and AI Max to scale efficiently, and partner with Web and Marketing Operations to lift conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Proven senior-level experience executing full-funnel paid digital campaigns across search, social, and programmatic channels.
- Strong command of large paid media budgets, forecasting, attribution, and performance reporting.
- Hands-on expertise with ABM, audience segmentation, retargeting, and structured experimentation.
- Ability to balance global strategic alignment with detailed regional campaign optimization, working effectively with agencies and cross-functional partners.
