What You'll Do
- Assist the Software Engineering Manager in coordinating development, testing and release streams for platform-related software
- Prepare project plans that guide contributions to the PlayStation developer platform
- Align stakeholders around agreed objectives, milestones and quality criteria
- Orchestrate product-testing activities in partnership with quality assurance colleagues
- Provide clear progress reports to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Steer internal initiatives that strike the right balance between process improvement and external delivery commitments
- Champion advances in project-management and software-development practices across the organisation
Requirements
- Eight or more years of relevant project-management experience
- Proven success guiding multiple medium-to-high complexity software projects that span several organisations and globally distributed teams
- Consistent track record of completing projects to schedule
- Ability to oversee several concurrent software development efforts
- Experience leading change-management or standardisation programmes
- Working knowledge of Agile methods such as Scrum
- Strong software-engineering foundation, ideally including practical hands-on coding
- Continuous-improvement orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
- A project-management qualification (PMI, APM or equivalent) is advantageous
- Useful additional experience includes business-process improvement, large-scale developer platforms, AI or agentic tooling, modern languages and practices, Jira and Confluence, and collaboration with Japanese and US teams
