Proverbs 31 Ministries is seeking a strategic, people-first Senior Manager of Human Resources to lead the human resources function for a faith-driven organization. This full-time, exempt role is hybrid and based in Matthews, North Carolina, within the greater Charlotte metro area.
About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Human Resources at Proverbs 31 Ministries, you will shape and steward the people strategy that keeps our team supported, compliant, and thriving. Working roughly 32 hours per week in a hybrid arrangement near Stallings and Union County, you will own the full employee journey—from the first welcome through every milestone—while championing a healthy, mission-aligned workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and carry out human resources strategies that advance the ministry's mission and long-term goals.
- Direct day-to-day HR operations with consistency, care, and attention to detail.
- Guide the complete employee life cycle, from onboarding through ongoing development and transitions.
- Cultivate a positive employee experience that strengthens engagement and retention.
- Safeguard the organization by ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and HR best practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading human resources operations and strategy, ideally at a senior or managerial level.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and the full employee life cycle.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative, service-minded approach.
- Ability to reside in and work from the metro Charlotte, NC area to support a hybrid schedule.
