As Senior Manager of Data Center Infrastructure Origination at AES US, you will own the identification and strategic development of new data center infrastructure opportunities. What You'll Do
- Identify and screen emerging data center infrastructure projects and partnership opportunities aligned with AES growth objectives
- Conduct comprehensive technical, financial, and commercial due diligence on origination candidates
- Build detailed investment cases and business models to support senior leadership decision-making
- Lead cross-functional origination teams through project scoping, feasibility analysis, and early development phases
- Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with industry partners, technology providers, and potential co-investors
- Track market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities in data center infrastructure
- Support transaction negotiation and structuring for selected projects
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure development, energy project origination, or data center operations
- Proven track record identifying and advancing complex infrastructure projects from concept through execution
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive cross-functional teams
- Expertise in energy infrastructure, grid modernization, or data center markets preferred
- Strong communication and presentation abilities with C-suite stakeholders
