Senior Legal Counsel

About the Role

As Senior Legal Counsel, you'll serve as a trusted legal advisor to executive leadership, guiding the organization through complex legal and regulatory challenges in the professional information services sector. You'll manage multiple legal priorities—from contract negotiations and compliance matters to intellectual property protection and litigation oversight—while building and strengthening the company's legal function.

What You'll Do

• Advise the C-suite and business units on corporate transactions, compliance obligations, and legal risk mitigation
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, service contracts, and vendor relationships
• Establish and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations in our industry
• Develop and protect intellectual property assets and manage licensing arrangements
• Oversee relationships with external counsel and coordinate litigation and dispute resolution efforts
• Create and implement legal policies, governance structures, and risk management protocols

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in your jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain bar membership
• Extensive professional experience as in-house counsel or senior attorney
• Strong background in contract law, corporate governance, and commercial transactions
• Proven ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders
• Strategic approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and business risks
• Experience in regulated industries, software, or professional services sectors strongly preferred
