Senior Technology Sales Support Specialist – Solution Consultant

Wolters Kluwer is hiring a Senior Technology Sales Support Specialist – Solution Consultant for our Carson City, Nevada office. In this full-time role, you'll serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to the sales team, translating complex software capabilities into customer-focused solutions that accelerate growth and drive successful implementations.

About the Role

As a Solution Consultant, you connect product engineering with customer business objectives. You'll work closely with our sales team, product marketing organization, and development groups to understand customer requirements and position tailored solutions that address their specific challenges. Your technical depth enables you to conduct informed conversations about capabilities and ROI, moving deals forward efficiently while setting customers up for long-term success.

What You'll Do

• Conduct discovery discussions with prospects to understand business needs and existing technology infrastructure
• Deliver hands-on product demonstrations that highlight relevant features and expected business impact
• Build customized solution designs and implementation roadmaps aligned with customer goals
• Advise sales leadership on deal strategy, competitive differentiation, and account approach for complex opportunities
• Develop sales enablement materials and messaging frameworks in partnership with product and marketing teams
• Assess market opportunities and customer feedback to inform product development priorities
• Guide customers through implementation planning and transition to ongoing support

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise with enterprise software solutions, gained through solution consulting or technical sales experience
• Ability to explain technical architecture and functionality to business decision-makers
• Strong grasp of how software investments improve business operations and competitive positioning
• Track record of closing large, multi-stakeholder sales engagements
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with sales, marketing, and product teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technology-related field
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for customer meetings and company functions
